Kenya Side-by-Side Church International is a Christ-centered movement raising disciples, planting churches, and demonstrating God's love through healthcare, education, and compassion — from a single congregation in Agongo to a ministry serving communities across Kenya and beyond.
Our History
In 1999, Bsp Joel Okeyo Amonde gathered a handful of people for prayer, Bible study, and evangelism under a mango tree in Kanyamkago North, Uriri Sub-County, Migori County — then part of Nyanza Province, Kenya.
What began as a small gathering has, by God's grace, grown into a vibrant church movement reaching thousands of lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From those humble beginnings, the ministry expanded into a network of churches and community-transformation ministries serving people spiritually, educationally, physically, and socially.
Today, the headquarters of Kenya Side-by-Side Church International stands in Agongo, Suna-Migori, Migori County — coordinating church planting, leadership development, missions, education, healthcare, and humanitarian outreach across Kenya and beyond.

Agongo Integrated Mission Campus
The headquarters campus brings together six major ministries working together to transform lives spiritually, academically, physically, socially, and economically.

Compassionate, affordable, quality healthcare demonstrating the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. 24-hour services include Emergency, Maternity, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Outpatient Clinic, and Inpatient Ward.
Training pastors, missionaries, evangelists, church planters, and Christian leaders through biblical education, leadership development, discipleship, and missions.
Quality Christian secondary education developing academic excellence, leadership, integrity, discipline, and godly character.
Christ-centered Early Childhood, Primary, and Junior School education — nurturing children academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
Equipping young people with vocational and technical skills that promote employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.
